Living Your Best Life Without Pain

Updated: Nov 30, 2023

Many people go to a chiropractor because they are suffering and experiencing physical discomfort. It’s hard living life through a veil of pain. You might be an aging grandmother, a star athlete, a weekend warrior, a hairdresser or nurse. It happens to all of us at some points in our busy, active lives.

I’m Dr. Anthony Kopp, and as a practitioner of chiropractic and rehabilitation here in Kalamazoo, Michigan, I see patients of all walks of life, and activity levels that have one common thread, physical pain. At Kalamazoo Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, we believe in finding the root cause of your pain, equipping you with knowledge regarding how your body works and helping your whole body heal with the proper support.

The greatest medicine of all is to teach people how to fix themselves.

I am a firm believer that all patients can live their best pain free life through the holistic approach of physical health. It’s non-invasive, therapeutic, preventative and disciplined.

How we go about it is what sets KCR apart. My approach to chiropractic care is to build on a strong foundation. My first priority is to get you out of pain. We initially conduct a thorough, personal assessment to build on a foundation that is customized to you. It’s important that we better understand you and your current lifestyle, your individual needs and desired outcomes. We then discover your source of discomfort. You may not realize that a pain in your hip is a problem in your foot, or that the pain in your wrist is coming from your neck. We take a deep dive into your beliefs about your symptoms as well, and this assessment becomes your road map for recovery, creates a baseline for your health, and puts you on the right track to feeling great as quickly as possible.

Our second phase at KCR is one of a schedule of treatments and exercises. After a few rounds of treatments, your exercises can be done in the comfort of your own home or at our facility. Unlike many chiropractic practices, I believe if you have to come back regularly over a long period of time, then I haven’t succeeded with you. There may be times however, in order to prevent a rapid recurrence of symptoms, it will be necessary to continue receiving occasional care even once your symptoms have cleared.

It’s easier to stay well than to get well.

Finally, keeping my patients healthy, happy and living life pain free is part of who KCR is at our core, so we go the extra step to keep you there. Our last phase is as important as the other two, and this is where we devise a customized plan that encompasses exercise, diet and eating habits. For some patients, I continue on with a more formal exercise and diet program.  Once your body has fully healed, this plan will keep you healthy along with occasional routine chiropractic checkups that can help ensure that your physical problems do not return and keep your body in optimal condition.

When you make routine chiropractic care a part of your lifestyle, you avoid many of the aches and pains that so many people suffer through, your joints will last longer, and you will be able to engage in more of the activities you love.

At Kalamazoo Chiropractic & Rehabilitation we believe every human has the right to live a healthy pain free life. Our mission is to provide the tools and education necessary to improve the health and well-being of the entire southwest Michigan area. By using the most up to date, evidence-based treatments we will help you take your health back.
