At Kalamazoo Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, we recognize that many of our patients come in not feeling their best and are eager to get into better shape. The challenge is that often, they begin a fitness program, push themselves too hard, get injured, and end up back in our office, unsure of how to proceed. It’s a common cycle that can be frustrating, but we’re here to help break it.
That’s why we offer small group in-person training that we call the “beginner’s guide to fitness.” This program is designed specifically for those who are new to fitness or looking to rebuild after an injury. We focus on teaching you how to lift correctly, maintain proper form, and develop good habits that set you up for long-term success. Our goal is to help you feel confident in your body, with the knowledge to continue your fitness journey independently, if that’s what you choose.
What makes our small group in-person training unique is the personal attention you get. We keep the groups small, with a maximum of four people per session. This ensures that each participant receives guidance from a qualified coach who is dedicated to ensuring that you are doing everything correctly and safely, minimizing your risk of injury. Our coaches don’t just guide you through the exercises – they take the time to teach you the fundamentals of movement and ensure you maintain proper form throughout your workout.
As you begin, you’ll notice progress week by week. However, after about a year, many individuals reach a plateau, where it feels like progress slows down. This is a common part of any fitness journey, but because our groups are small, we can modify each person’s program to continue challenging you and helping you progress. We don’t believe in just pushing you to do more or hoping for the best. Instead, we tailor the program to your specific needs and adjust it as necessary to ensure that you’re continually making progress.
